My Journey

Hey! I’m Kate, an outgoing, outspoken lover of the arts and principal content creator for Kate Couch Freelance. Ever since I was little you could find me writing, whether it was for extra credit or a short story. I always knew that writing would be in my future. Anyone who knows me sees that creativity is one of the biggest aspects of my life. I enjoy adding my personal touch to everything. Now as an adult I have discovered a passion for research and have been able to develop those skills further. In my free time when I’m not writing or making short films, I can be found in the great outdoors, surfing, hiking, and snowboarding. Nature and the fine arts are just some of the few things I love more than the Oxford-Comma. My ideas flow out in so many forms: short film creation, songwriting, drawing, painting, and storytelling, just to name a few. I enjoy bringing my creativity to every environment I’m in. This shows in the workplace and in my writing. 

I always strive to learn and develop my literary style and voice, approaching every challenge I come across as an experience to grow and develop as a writer.
